OUR HISTORY
Bumkoo was established in 1978 in South Korea and was the first steam table pan manufacturer in Asia. We began shipping in 1979 to the United States and Canada, focusing on product reliability and excellent service. As our reputation in the food-service industry grew, the demand for our products expanded to Europe, Asia, Africa, and South and Central America. By focusing on customer satisfaction and loyalty, Bumkoo became a leader in kitchenware and cookware manufacturing.
In 2007, Bumkoo opened a factory in Vietnam. Leveraging 30 years of experience, we transferred our hydraulic presses, molds, and manufacturing leaders from Korea to Vietnam to replicate and enhance production quality. In 2014, Bumkoo added an aluminum factory to produce aluminum cookware. Since 2008, all products have been produced in Vietnam and we constantly update technology and machinery and improve techniques to sustain leading-edge production.
Family owned, Bumkoo executives come from Korea and the United States with over forty decades of experience in food-services, law, environmental policy, multi-sector partnerships and philanthropy. Our aim is to maintain our values as a family-owned, socially responsible company as we support our Vietnam staff and serve customers globally.
